Miriam Tanti
Lecturer in Education and ICT (Australian Catholic University)
Miriam Tanti is a Lecturer in Education and Information and Communication Technology and works within the Faculty of Education. She has taught at the Australian Catholic University since 2005 preparing both Primary and Secondary pre-service teachers to teach Computing curriculum and methods of ways to integrate technology into teaching practice.
Miriam is also currently undertaking a PhD into the effects that a slow pedagogy can have on educational sustainability with a focus on ICT integrated curriculum, and has also published numerous journal articles and peer-refereed confernce articles.
Miriam was a high school teacher before coming to ACU, teaching in the Technological and Applied Studies Department and was Head of the Computing Studies Department at Cranbrook School for eight years, teaching students in Year 7 through to 12.
