Elsa Fontainha is an Assistant Professor in the ISEG Technical University of Lisbon. She holds a PhD in Economics. Her areas of scientific activity are: Time allocation and Teaching and New Technologies. She is coordinator of two projects "Using the Web to Teach Economics: What the Portuguese University Web Sites on Economics Courses Reveal" (2004-2006) and "Internet at Portuguese Universities - Teachers Opinions and Practices" (2006- ) accompanied by a large scale survey (more than 500 university teachers), which were partially funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia.
