It aims to increase the employability of school leavers and workers in SMEs by providing access to professional training in Business Administration, ICT and the Environment.
The main aims of the project are:
1. The evaluation of training needs, design and implementation of training materials and provision of the appropriate ICT tools to put them into practice.
2. The creation of an Open and Distance Learning system.
3. The definition of a training and support network for the self-employment category of trainees.
Existing modules, provided by EU partners, will be used to train trainers. A network of trainers within the partnership will evaluate and test the training materials. This programme of complementary training will result in a new form of co-operation between higher education institutions and SMEs.
The results of a training needs analysis will be published in booklet form. The work of the project will be publicised through practical guides, journals and the mass media, conferences and electronically via the Internet.
