Enhancing Cultural Learning During Brief Cultural Exchanges by the Use of ICT

To support young Europeans in communicating with each other and learning from each other and to create new ways for young Europeans to exchange their experiences of live using new technologies.

Students will explore a virtual context that describes the way in which access to a university education is decided in 3 European countries. Students will also be able to discuss the impact on people's ability to be effective European citizens that having or not having a university education gives.

The project is organised by Palacky University in the Czech Republic and involves participation from 3 European countries and over 100 students. Already, commercial interest has been expressed in developing the project. So far the exchanges of students and what they have learnt about each other has led to a lot of close collaboration – and three marriages.
