Public profile Eleonora Pantò
Since 2000 she is working in CSP-ICT Innovation and she is the Knowledge Community Manager, where is in charge of technological innovation projects dealing with social computing and particularly referring to elearning, digital communities and open source. She is the project manager of the Dschola project, a regional school network, recognized as a Good Practice by EU. She was chairperson of the IANIS+ Elearning Working Group.She designed and managed vocational training initiative and in quality of Coordinator of a regional vocational training agency, she participated in a European studies seminar (Socrates) focusing on the “dual system” (training/education) in Munich.From 1992 to 1998, she worked in CSI Piemonte (Consortium for the Informative System of the Piemonte Region), dealing with computer networks projects such as: the Collaborative Didactics project together with the Telematic Laboratory of the city of Collegno; the “Woman and Work Counter” project (NOW Project) (1997); the first web site prototype for the Piemonte Region (Agriculture and Culture council department) (1996); the “Internet for schools” project launched by the City of Torino (1993); the first Gopher server in the Piemonte Region (1992).
She published books and articles on the Internet effect on schools and education.
