Public profile Sirin Soyoz

I am the E-learning Coordinator for the British Council ELT (English Language Teaching) department in Istanbul, Turkey.

I am an experienced online tutor and give support to the British Council ELT Team in the development of e-learning projects on the local and regional levels.

I have been actively involved in educational technology, coordinating various projects for learners and teachers of English using digital media. I am also in the global IATEFL Online team, which manages the interactive web coverage of the IATEFL Conference.

I hold a BA degree in foreign language education from METU (Middle East Technical University, Turkey) in 2004. I study at post-graduate level in Online and Distance Education at the UK’s Open University, which gives me a solid foundation to progress my career as an e-learning professional in a wide range of settings.
