Public profile Wojciech Zielinski

Mr. Zielinski is a co-author and a co-organizer of Polish Virtual University (PVU) – the biggest e-learning project in Polish higher education system initiated at the beginning of the year 2002. He created the team of highly specialized professionals who support the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (AHE) in methodology of online teaching, e-courses development, e-learning technological platform as well as all administration issues concerning learning on the Internet. In 2007 AHE provides 4 undergraduate and 3 graduate online programs on PVU platform as well as few hundred online courses, which are offered to the public or support face-to-face learning.

Mr. Zielinski works also as consultant for higher education institutions implementing information technologies. Besides PVU he managed several e-learning projects, which were realized by consortia of Polish universities and financed by European Union.

His main field of interest is the value of information technology in higher education. He is an author and co-author of many articles and conference presentations concerning these issues with a particular focus on e-learning.

Since 2007 he is the Secretary of Association of Academic E-learning in Poland.
