ICWL 2012 - 11th International Conference on Web-based Learning

ICWL is an annual international conference on web-based learning. The first ICWL was held in Hong Kong in 2002. Since then, it has been held in Australia (2003), China (2004), Hong Kong (2005), Malaysia (2006), United Kingdom (2007), China (2008), Germany (2009), China (2010), Hong Kong (2011). ICWL 2012 will be the 11th ICWL conference and will be held in Sinaia, Romania.

The technical program will feature keynote addresses and workshops in addition to technical presentations of refereed papers.

Paper submission deadline: April 25, 2012 Deadline extended: 10 May 2012

Notification of paper acceptance: June 10, 2012

Camera-ready paper due: July 1, 2012

Sinaia is one of the most famous mountain tourist resorts in Romania, known as "The Carpathian Pearl". Situated in a breathtaking mountain scenery, Sinaia is located at 120 km distance from Bucharest, on the Prahova Valley. Blending astonishing beauty of nature with picturesque architecture, Sinaia is a formal royal residence; Peles Castle is one of the best preserved royal palaces in Europe which served as the summer residence of the first king of Romania, Carol I. The conference will be hosted by Palace Hotel, a historic building located in a scenic park. This stylish hotel is close to the downtown and within walking distance to Peles Castle and Sinaia Monastery.
