LINK aims at lowering teachers’ burden to develop web-based multimedia course modules and to introduce web-based learning using a tele-learning platform in universities.
Electronic learning environments (“web-based tele-learning platforms”) are evaluated and tried out. The learners (students) have to study the courses on the web as a self-study package.
This learning is supported by face-to-face tutorial sessions, and by virtual classrooms on the platform. In the partnership, several pilot courses have jointly been created. The learning methodology is field-tested, evaluated and made available for other users in- and outside the partnership. Teachers are taught to work with these tools.
