Lecturer in higher education in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), since 1995. Current Director of the Digital Literacy area, Department of computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunication that has a compulsory and cross-curricular subject in all degrees, on the ICT competences with 70 teachers and 5000 students per semester.

-Lecturer in the PhD on the Information and Knowledge Society, in the Official Master in Education and ICTs, and Official Master in Free and Open Source Software Technology offered by the UOC.

Research focused on Educative Technology and E-learning Area, and most specifically on team work in virtual environments, on online teacher training, didactic multimedia materials and digital literacy.

I have worked in several research projects: PROFIT Acción Avanzada, Ministerio de Tecnologia, (2002); ; FREREF, (Fundation des Régions Européenes pour la Recherche en Education et en Formation), (1998-2002); COLLEAGUE (Collaborative Learning in Virtual Environment), (1998-1999); Elene-TT (elene network for teacher training), European Project (2004-2006) and on projects with Generalitat, Catalan Government, on ICT Competences and Knowledge (2005-2006). Currently participating in Elene-TLC. European Project (2007-2008) and "Políticas y prácticas en torno a las TIC en la enseñanza obligatoria: Implicaciones para la innovación y la mejora". I have published several papers and participated actively in international congresses and workshops within my knowledge area.

Current a researcher on Training, Innovation and New Technologies at the Barcelona University (UB), in the quality research of Catalonia and membrer on NAP Steering Committee fron the EDEN European Distance and E-leanirng Europe.
