The objective of the Kid-Net Project is to promote the use of ICT and ODL based technologies in teaching English to children up to 5 years old.

The kid-Net project is promoted by CO&SO, Consortium for co-operation and Solidarity, operating in Florence (IT).

This objective has been achieved through the organisation of two training workshops for the pre-school teachers of 25 nursery schools around 3 European Countries, and through a Distance Course on the use of new technologies for the English language teaching. The Distance Course was created in English Language during the first year of the project and translated into 3 more European languages (Italian, French and Spanish) in the second year of the project.

The second year of the project was dedicated to the planning, projecting and creation of the Kid-Net CD-ROM containing the interactive English Course for children up to 5 years old.
