Offentlig profil María Isabel Hernández Rodríguez

M. I. Hernández obtained her Bachelors’ degree in Physics (2006) in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and her Masters’ degree in Science Education (2008) in the Faculty of Education in the UAB. At present, she is a PhD student in Science Education (UAB). She started to work as a research assistant at the Centre for Research in Science and Mathematics Education (CRECIM) in 2006 and currently is supported with a grant funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICIIN) under the FPU program (since 2008). She develops teaching tasks with secondary school students in the laboratory sessions which deal with Physics within one of the projects of the CRECIM (REVIR project). She has carried out some research studies within two research strands: teachers’ perceptions on computer modelling tools and development of teaching/learning sequences on sound. Her present research work is focused on the latter strand, being developed within the framework of the Materials Science project.
