My role involves promoting teaching innovations and enhancements at the university, from need assessment to implementation evaluation, with a strong emphasis in technology enhanced learning. I co-manage the student evaluation of teaching system (SET), by providing technical and research expertise, and supervise the production of teaching and quality reports. I get involved in investigating and piloting new tools for technology enhanced learning, providing training and pedagogical advise on the use of the the learning management system and plagiarism prevention tools. I often collaborate in diverse action-research driven projects such as the First Seven Weeks student induction programme at the university. Additional responsibilities include committee membership and representation, representation in national and international educational communities (EDIN, ILTA), and design and delivery of teaching.
